A renowned cinematographer and photographer, Jan has been passionately telling stories from behind his camera for almost twenty years. He has worked on a vast collection of documentaries, nature films, travel films and corporate promotionals for an array of clients worldwide, ranging from Sarah McLachlan to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation to global mining enterprises. His recent new venture as a drone pilot and aerial cinematographer has allowed him bring a stunning aerial perspective to many of his films.
He recently completed work as Director of Photography on a feature documentary film, MIDWAY and was instrumental in the creative vision and social marketing campaign, that has resulted in over 20 million plays of the film trailer online.
